What does extraction answer?
Ask the provider to describe where water is standing and which removal method fits the site. The written work order should say what is extracted, which materials are evaluated next and whether subsequent drying is a separate charge. A price per square foot is not a measurement of a particular building.

Stay away from the affected area, do not touch electrical switches, outlets or appliances near water, and call a professional. If anyone is in danger, leave the area and call 911.
How can the quote stay legible?
Check whether extraction, monitoring, equipment time and reconstruction are individually identified, then compare the proposal with the cost explanation. Do not add equipment days twice if they are already within a drying line.
